Greek Turkey Burgers

Servings: 15 small patties

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground turkey (94% lean)
  • 3/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients except the ground turkey. Mixing all of the ingredients before adding the turkey will keep the turkey from being over-mixed, which could make your burgers too tough.
  • Using a fork, fold ground turkey into your wet mixture until well incorporated.
  • Bring skillet to medium heat, then grease with cooking spray.
  • Scoop out meat using an ice cream scoop and release the patty onto the hot skillet. Use the back of your fork to flatten the meat into a patty.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes on the first side, then flip to the other side and cook for another 5 minutes until cooked through. Cook time will depend on the thickness of your patties. The internal temperature should reach 165°.
