This mango salsa is a looker! I’m in LOVE the vibrant colors of this super easy salsa. The mango and lime juice bring such a bright flavor, the bell pepper adds a nice crunch, and the red onion and cilantro balance out all the sweetness of this salsa.
I’ve made this salsa so many times, and finally decided to take the time to write down the recipe and snap some photos so I could share it with you! What I love about this recipe is you can easily swap out or introduce new ingredients to this salsa! You could add some fresh diced jalapeños to add some heat. You could even swap out the mango with other fruit, depending on what’s in season—peaches or even pineapple could be a great option! Don’t love cilantro? Swap it out with some chopped chives. So many possibilities!
Top your salad with a big scoop of this salsa for some extra flavor and brightness! Or even scoop a helping of this stuff onto a taco to jazz up your taco Tuesday. This would be especially good with some sort of shrimp or fish taco… oh, yes! I really need to try that!
Or just keep it easy and grab a big bag of tortilla chips and go to town. ‘Cause who doesn’t love chips and salsa… I mean really. We all know that’s half the reason we all love going out for Mexican food… for the free chips and salsa, am I right?! Well, that and the margaritas. 😉

Mango Salsa
Ingredients
- 2 mangos, skins removed
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1/2 medium-sized red onion
- 1/3 cup roughly chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- Dice mangos and bell peppers to similar sized chunks (ideally into about 1/4 inch cubes).
- Finely chop your red onion. You want your red onion pieces to be smaller than your cubes of mango and pepper.
- Throw diced mangos, peppers, and onion into a bowl and add all remaining ingredients.
- Mix until well combined.
- Add additional salt or chili powder to taste.
- Serve with tortilla chips, on your favorite tacos, or pile onto a fresh salad.
